The Old Fish Market, Stowaway.

[Alex MacDonald, coordinator, Between Islands]

This week’s musical piece features Shetland musician Arthur Nicholson, and a performance of “Rolling and Tumbling”, one of the songs he co wrote with Kris Drever and Willie Campbell for the original Between Islands concert. Many thanks to Arthur for recording this solo version especially for our youtube channel.

I would like to highlight another short film piece by Lewis film maker Zoe Paterson Macinnes. Anns an fhuil (In the blood) was made in Zoe’s own home area of Bernera, and is on the theme of fishing.

Also, this week the BBC website carried this article on the abandoned Shetland island of South Havra which you may find of interest.
