The Between Islands Project is a collaboration between the Western Isles, Orkney and Shetland. Among the projects was to have been three exhibitions, one in each of the island groups, but this has had to be cancelled due to Covid 19. It will go ahead as an online exhibition. Here is a message from Alex MacDonald from An Lanntair, Stornoway, who is coordinating the project.

I am delighted to say that today marks the release of the first in our series of online content for the Between Islands project. Having relaunched the project to now include online resources, from now till the end of the year our dedicated youtube channel will have a weekly item added , including musical performances, online lectures and the short films made by our talented island film makers.  The first of these is on the topic of community, and can be viewed here:

Made by Lewis film maker Zoe Paterson Macinnes, it is based on an interview with Professor Frank Rennie of Lewis Castle UHI. Please feel free to share on your own media channels and as appropriate to your areas of interest. leis gach durachd
